Tips on how to make this the best cauliflower cake batter oats

  • Do you have to use cauliflower in this dish?
    • Absolutely not! You do not have to put cauliflower in your oat bowl. I like to do this just because it adds vegetables to your dish! Adding cauliflower also helps make it a bit thicker.
  • Can you use something else besides almond extract?
    • No you do not have to use almond extract, but using the almond extract does give your batter the cake like flavor. But if you have vanilla extract on hand, that will be fine as well!
  • Can you use a different type of protein powder?
    • Absolutely! I chose Arbonne Vanilla Protein because it is clean and it gives a similar cake like flavor. But whatever kind of protein powder you have on hand will work!
  • Do you have to use egg whites?
    • Nope! You do not have to add egg whites. I added this for extra protein and to make the oats thicker when cooking them.
