Funfetti Brownie Bites

When you can’t choose between eating funfetti cake and a brownie, you just make both. These funfetti brownie bites are the best of both worlds. You get a bite of funfetti cake and a bite of fudgey brownie all at the same time. How could you not want to take a bite? Plus, they are filled with wholesome ingredients and good for you, something even I did not know was possible.

Ingredients for these Funfetti Brownie Bites

  • Almond Flour
  • Organic Cane Sugar
  • Baking Powder
  • Egg
  • Applesauce
  • Avocado Oil
  • Water
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Flax Eggs
  • Sprinkles
  • Vanilla Frosting

How to make these Funfetti Brownie Bites

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix together the ingredients for the funfetti cake layer.
  3. Pour into a greased 8×8 baking pan and place in the oven. Bake for about 15 minutes. 
  4. While the funfetti cake is baking, mix the ingredients together for the brownie layer. Once the funfetti cake is cooked enough on top, pour the brownie batter over the cake. Place back in the oven and bake for another 20 minutes or until both layers are completely cooked. **If the cake is not cooked enough, the brownie layer may sink into the cake and cause it to not have the layers.
  5. Once they have cooled, frost them and enjoy!

  • 2 tsps Baking Powder

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 Cup Organic Cane Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsps Baking Powder
  • 2 Flax Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Avocado Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • Vanilla Frosting Optional

Instructions

Tips & Tricks to make these the best

  • To make these completely vegan, you can use flax eggs for the vanilla cake as well. They do bake very similar and will work for the cake.
  • If you want to use coconut oil over avocado oil, you can substitute it out.
  • I use organic cane sugar, but feel free to use any sugar you prefer.
